Valheim is a brutal exploration and survival game for 1-10 players, set in a procedurally-generated pur elfog Viking purgatory. Inspired by Viking culture and mythology, you play as a warrior sent to the tenth Norse world to slay the beasts of legend and prove yourself worthy of Valhalla.

Does Instalobby support Valheim cross-play?

Currently, our Valheim servers have cross-play disabled. This allows players to connect directly via the server IP without going through the PlayFab relay system. You and your friends can join using the server IP we provide.

Can I use DLC or mods on my Valheim server?

Our Valheim servers currently support the base game. Mod support is not available in the current version. We're evaluating mod support for future updates.

Can I set a password for my Valheim server?

Yes! When creating your server, you can set a password. This allows you to control who can join your game. The password is encrypted and stored securely.

What happens to my server data when I stop it?

All your game data (worlds, characters, builds) is automatically saved and persisted. When you start your server again, everything will be exactly as you left it.

Can I change the server settings after creation?

Currently, server settings cannot be updated. We are working on this topic. If you want, for instance to change the password, you may need to recreate the server.

How many players can join a Valheim server?

The small VM size supports up to 4 players comfortably. For larger groups, consider our medium or large VM sizes for better performance.
